What is Manufacturing?

• Manufacturing is all about making useful products by using raw materials. 
• A new product needs to undergo some processes; these processes are called Manufacturing Processes. There are following processes in manufacturing:

Casting: Casting is a process in which we melt the metal and pour it into a mold to give the shape of our product.

Forming: Forming is a process in which we heat the metal and give shape by applying pressure.

Welding: Welding is a process in which we acquire the desired shape by joining the metal pieces.
Machining: Machining is a process in which we remove the excess material from the work piece to gain required shape.
